Africa is a continent with so much potential! These reads caught my eye today...... Day zero may well be avoided in Cape Town, thanks in part to the awesome contributions of the citizens of Cape Town dubbed the " Day zero heroes ". The marriage between South Africa’s mining industry and the government seems to be nigh and more on the proposed mining charter . Meanwhile, positivity seems to be brewing in South Africa..... An inspiring piece on the little girl that fires up the engines of the Maties rugby team and some sad news on the chain saw attack on an aspiring South African triathlete. Let's hope he gets to run, swim and cycle again and that the perpetrators are dealt with accordingly. There seems to be big opportunities for money transfer firms in Africa, the UK is ramping up investment in Africa post Brexit and a single African air transport market seems like a distant possibility. Happy Monday Folks! Let us spare a thought today for the 180 or so victims of the Listeria outbreak in South Africa. Here's what caught my eye this morning.....
